The Palmetto Care Connections (PCC) Telehealth team recently visited schools in Bamberg County to promote our school-based telehealth partnership with Bamberg Family Practice. This collaborative effort aims to provide students with accessible, high-quality healthcare services right from their school.

Carolina Warren and Liz Satiz from PCC, along with Bretta Kittrell, FNP from Bamberg Family Practice, attended events at Richard Carroll Elementary, Bamberg-Ehrhardt Middle School, and Bamberg-Ehrhardt High School. At each event, PCC and Bamberg Family Practice set up informational booths to share details about the school-based telehealth program and clinic hours.

Parents who stopped by to learn more about this innovative healthcare option were entered into a drawing for a chance to win a Chromebook. We’re thrilled to congratulate Jessica Hedding, who connected with our team and was randomly selected as the lucky winner of the Chromebook.

Through partnerships like this, PCC and Bamberg Family Practice are working together to ensure students have the healthcare resources they need to thrive. Pictured at the left is Caroline Warren, PCC Telehealth Coordinator and winner Jessica Hedding.
